2 Key Findings – Hungary The nature of online risk types: The types of risks that stood out for Hungary compared to the global averages included: 1) receiving offensive or obscene content, 2) encountering fake news, and 3) being called offensive names Risks within social circles did not change: Within Hungary, risks stemming from family and friends remained the same as the prior year; Hungary did not match the global trend of social circles becoming riskier The pain from online risks was significant: Within Hungary, moderate to severe pain was experienced by 46% of consumers, slightly below the global average   Consequences were up; positive actions were mixed: Hungarians matched the WW trend for consequences from online risks and were more likely to step aside from social media Millennials and boomers were hit hardest by risks: Millennials and baby boomers in Hungary experienced moderate to severe pain from online risks, more so compared to other age demographics  There was a surge in teens asking for help. In Hungary, like the global average, teens asked for help with online risks from parents (45% vs. 42%) and other adults (32% vs. 28%) Small improvement in Microsoft's Digital Civility Index (DCI): Hungary (-1) registered a small gain in DCI and ranks #16 for DCI of the 22 countries surveyed

7 Millennials and baby boomers were hit the hardest

8 More teens asked for help with online risks
Worldwide, there was a surge in teenagers asking for help with online risks from both parents (+32 points to 42%) and adults (+19 points to 28%) In Hungary, even more teens asked for help with online risks from both parents (45% vs. 42%) and other adults (32% vs. 28%) Asking parents for help jumped 38 points Asking an adult for help rose 24 points Q12: Have you ever taken any of the following actions after you were treated in an unsafe or uncivil manner online?
