Decibel TRICKS 3 dB: 10 dB: Double the Power: 10 Log (2/1) = add 3 dB
Half the power: 10 Log (1/2) = subtract 3 dB 10 dB: Up the power by 10 times: 10 Log (10/1) = add 10 dB Drop the power by 10 times: 10 Log (1/10) = subtract 10 dB

dBi! It’s 2.15 greater number than dBd (More impressive)

Do you REALLY need to fix it? How to fix it? A Balun? (Balanced to Unbalanced) (A transformer) AND…Cut the antenna for resonance at your desired frequency

R, S, T reports R: Signal Readability
1 – Unreadable……..5 – Perfectly readable S: Signal Strength 1 – Faint signal, barely perceptible……9 – Extremely strong signal What is “50 over 9”? T: Signal Tone (Used with CW) 1 – 60 Hz or lower, very rough…….9 – Perfect tone.
