Morning and pick up arrangements
4SV line up in the morning by the ramp on the main playground 4SV are released to parents via the door to the courtyard Please let the teacher know if they are being collected by a person not on the consent list. This includes going home with another child. This can be in person or via the school planner.

Communication We will be on the playground every morning (unless we are on the gate) Please use the journal to let us know any important information. They are checked daily by an adult but please ask your child to hand their planner directly to an adult if they know there is an important message in it. We are always happy to arrange meetings if you need a longer discussion

Homework Topic Homework
Each Term you will receive a curriculum newsletter outlining areas of study, resources you may be able to help us with and topic homework activities. It is expected that each child completes at least one of the topic homework activities at some point during the term. They can complete more than one if they wish!

Homework Weekly homework will be a range of activities including set tasks, spellings, and times tables. All tasks will be explained to the children in class and followed up in class. It will be handed out on Friday and needs to be returned by the following Thursday. If homework is completed before this, please return it for marking. Please continue to read at home and record this in your child’s Planner. Topic Homework – One per term

Admin A parent workshop timetable will be released in September with details of upcoming events and meetings If you have any changes to personal contact details (e.g. phone numbers or address) please update the office

PE P.E Information Outdoor games – Thursday with Mrs Gardner
Indoor P.E – to be confirmed Please can P.E kits stay in school all week. Appropriate outdoor footwear is required for outdoor games e.g. trainers. A jogging suit or tracksuit bottoms/top are required for cold weather. Earrings should be removed for PE and swimming.
