2. Sea Level Pressure and 1000-500mb Thickness

9. From the Analysis of SLP the low pressure center occupies most parts of Africa.
A deep low develops over Arabian sea and it moves far to north as it deepens during the second and the third day.
High SLP is expected to intensify from southern Atlantic Ocean and Indian Ocean for the coming two days, in this area calm weather will be expected.
But for the last three days the low pressure intensifies to the whole Africa and Indian Ocean replacing the high pressure.
For the last day, over the Atlantic ocean the high pressure center develops and shifts north.
The vertical thickness also intensifies over Africa which shows warm air temperature.
Where as in the Atlantic ocean for the last day following the high pressure area the vertical thickness decreases which shows cold air.
