What is UKPMC? The UK-version of PubMed Central Offers the PubMed Central collection of ~1,000,000 full-text life science articles, freely available online irrespective of library holdings US and UKPMC mirror each others content

Who provides UKPMC? The British Library together with the University of Manchester and the European Bioinformatics Institute The service is hosted by MIMAS, the national academic data centre

XML Conversion service suppliers UKMSS submissions accepted in various formats – mainly PDF and MS Word Documents are converted to XML using specialist conversion service Suppliers selected Oct 2006 – contract start 1 st Jan 2007 Selection criteria – price, quality, speed, service level
