15. Achievement under Kitchen cum Store
In Puducherry, Central kitchen is being followed and at present 13 Central kitchen are functioning including the Central Kitchen at Lawspet .
There is a proposal to construct 6 more central kitchens viz., 2 Puducherry 3 karaikal 1 at Mahe.
The Central grant received for an amount of Rs Lakhs is to be utilsed for the construction of Central kitchen at Kurivinatham Puducherry.
Land for the construction of the kitchen has already been identified and handed over to the Public Works Department, Puducherry for the construction of the said kitchen
