8. Tide Pool Pre & Post Tests
There are three different pre and post tests that we give to teachers.
Younger grades: ages 6-10
Intermediate: ages 11-15
Advanced: ages 16+
Think high school and college biology students.

9. How / why do we give them tests?
How: Jackie and I send them to the teachers via . They are to be completed in their own classroom before and after their visit, and then sent back to us. Why: This is how we track the “impact” we are having on students. AKA for funding reasons.

10. What’s your role in pre & post tests?
Study the tests to become familiar with the questions.
Try to incorporate the content into your interactions with students.
If some of the things don’t come up, do not worry! It’s up to the teachers to go over the content, too.

I am asking the teachers to send a SCHEDULE of their field trip at least two weeks before their visit.
We will then post a link to the schedule on SignUp.com.
Hopefully a concrete schedule will keep teachers organized, and us on track!
