3. Benefits
“provides students with the motivation necessary to put forth effort in academics, it gives them more opportunities to integrate and elaborate on their knowledge, and it increases the likelihood of transferring theoretical knowledge to actual practice.”

4. My Service-Learning
Special Needs Water Day- I helped out by hanging out with the special needs children from the high school I graduated from. I walked around and just made sure that they were having as much fun as they could

5. Special Needs
This program was established so that these kids could go to school and learn. It is a great program that is a lot of fun to help with

6. Water Day
One of the things we did was race down one of the big water slides set up.

7. Water Day
Today I was in the dunk tank as the special needs kids tried to sink me.

8. Slides
There was about three different huge water slides that all of the kids could participate in and slide down to have fun.

9. Having Fun
This is Rashun on of the special needs kids that I got the privilege of getting to hangout with all day.

10. What I got out of Service-Learning
I really enjoyed being able to spend time with these amazing kids. I learned a lot from them and I hope they learned from me as well.
