ACADEMIC CREDENTIAL EVALUATION SERVICES

2 What is academic credentialing?
A program designed to add value to the high school diploma by certifying student attainment of the skills most valued by post-secondary stakeholders.

3 Academic Credentialing
Is a recognition of student academic readiness to meet their post- secondary goals a commitment to meeting the academic expectations of post-secondary stakeholders (e.g. employers, community colleges/ trade schools, and 4-year colleges and universities) Is Not an added requirement of the student accountability policy

4 What credentials are offered?
Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) College Tech Prep Readiness Certificate (CTPRC) College/University Prep Readiness Certificate (CUPRC)

5 3 Certifications with 3 Levels

6 The Career Readiness Certificate
is a portable skills credential, assuring employers that a job applicant actually has the basic skills they seek.

7 National Career Readiness Certificate
3 Levels Bronze - core employability skills for approximately 30% of available jobs Silver - approximately 65% Gold - approximately 90%.
