2. Llobregat river is important in Catalonia
Llobregat river is important in Catalonia. It flows through our county, very close to Artés.
It flows into the Mediterranean sea near Barcelona airport, but that is not a problem to enjoy a very important natural environment so close to the planes.
The 5th and 6th grade students visited Llobregat’s mouth and learnt a lot about the marsh’s indigenous flora and fauna.
Llobregat’s marsh is one of the most important places in Catalonia for the environmental protection, education and research.

4. Llobregat marsh is located close to Barcelona’s airport, but that is not a problem to enjoy a very rich natural enviroment.
