Anyone with a permanently negative attitude Anyone who complains LOUDLY and A LOT Anyone who only wants to complain and doesn’t want to actively be part of the solution Anyone who isn’t around enough to what going (or not going) on Anyone who isn’t actively involved in the congregation at large Who does NOT belong on your Team?

9 Step 1: Form A Team Who do I recruit? Observe people. Ask around!
Listen for recommendations from others Choose 7-8 people, in addition to yourself (depending on size of your congregation or ministry area, you could do 4-5 people) Who do I recruit?

“Mission” – a broad picture of who you are and what you exist to do. A sentence or short paragraph which reflects your organization’s purpose, identity, values, and principles aims. “Vision” – a succinct statement of the big picture of your ministry’s purpose. A broad, aspirational image of the future.

VBS, Sunday school, mid-week evening activities, etc.). .Down the left side of the Y axis, write one of each of the imperatives (ie. Meet God, Find Life, Make Friends, etc.). .Work through each ministry program, evaluating by each of the imperatives, and rate them on a scale from 0-3. 0—not at all 1—hardly at all, needs major improvement 2—average, needs minor improvement 3—meets or exceeds, needs no improvement .Calculate the sub-total (the total of all your scores in a given column), then average them.
