Leave school 9.30 TBC Arrive at site approx Unpack and settle in. – Site rules and tour round site – Exploration time – Lunch – – 1.30 Sorting activity groups 2.00 Activity cycle 1 – Archery, Mini pioneering and Go-Karts. Indoor games – 5.00 Dinner Campfire with special treat – 7.00 Film – 8.00 Bed 10.00

5. The plan – day 2
Wake up, Wash, etc – 7.00 Breakfast – 7.30 Tidy rooms – 8.30 Exploring time – 9.30 Activity cycle 2 – – 1.00 (Climbing, shelter building and assault course) Lunch – 1.00 Activity cycle 3 – 2.00 – 5.00 (Cooking, Gladiator and Team building games) Indoor games – 5.00 Dinner – 6.00 Campfire – 7.00 Film – 8.00 Bed – 10.00

6. The plan – Day 3
Wake up, wash, etc – 7.00 Breakfast – 7.30 Tidy rooms and pack ready to leave – 8.30 Exploring time – 9.00 Field games – Coach pick up – latest Arrival back at school – 11.30

7. Kit
Each child will need to bring… 3 x spare sets of clothes – Not new! (campsites are muddy) 1 x spare pair of shoes. 1 x waterproof coat. 1 x sleeping bag. 1 x wash kit and towel. 1 x black bag for dirty clothes. Optional kit…. 1 x torch 1 x reading book or similar 1 x pillow

8. Kit
Kit that is not allowed… No mobile phones or electronic devices. No music players No money

9. Communication
We have a strict policy on communication at YPS. We will have a school twitter page for pictures and updates throughout both residentials. We call school each morning and evening to inform and update the school office. In case of emergency during the school day, the office will contact you to inform you. Out of school hours a designated member of staff will contact you direct.

10. Forms
There are 2 forms you need. Kit list form should be given out tomorrow at the end of the school day. This will have a complete kit list that they will need/ not need. Medical form – This must be filled in before the week of travel. Every section of this form must be filled in. Without it your child can not go!
