An evidence-based model that incentivizes the purchasing of healthy foods Supported by the USDA’s Food Insecurity Nutrition Incentive (FINI) program “Produce Perks makes it possible for me to stretch my dollar at the grocery store. I don’t think I would be able to keep my family nourished without this additional benefit.” —Bob from Bethel, Ohio Produce Perks is Ohio’s Nutrition Incentive Program. Incentive programming varies from state to state. Produce Perks incentivizes produce purchases when qualifying SNAP purchases are made. Other models...
