The solar system includes the Sun.
The solar system formed about 4.6 billion years old.
There are 8 planets in the solar system.

2. Sun The sun is the largest object in our solar system.
The sun is 10,000 degrees.
The sun is 4.5 billion years old.

3. Mercury Mercury is almost the size of the moon.
And it is covered in craters throughout the planet.
It’s the planet closest to the sun.

4. Venus Venus is the closest planet to the earth.
Venus is the third brightest planet.
Venus has volcanos, mountains ranges, and lava.

5. Earth Earth is the largest of the inner planets.
It’s the only planet with people.
Earth is the only planet that almost filled with water.

6. Mars
Mars is called the red planet because it looks like fire from earth.
Mars is small, and it’s a half the size of earth.
Mars may have had water on its surface at one point.

7. Asteroid Belt Asteroid belt is a place that asteroids are held.
There are like 10,000 asteroid in it.
If it breaks it will probably reach Earth.

8. Jupiter Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system.
Jupiter is 11 times the size of earth.
Jupiter has at least 63 moons for more than 300 years is.

9. Saturn Like Jupiter, Saturn has many moons.
Saturn is not a peaceful planet, storm winds race around the atmosphere at 800 kmp/h.
Saturn has a small rocky core covered with liquid gas.

10. Uranus Uranus was discovered in 1781. Uranus is the ice gaint.
Uranus hits the coldest planet.

11. Neptune Neptune is the 11 planet.
Neptune was discovered by watching it orbit Uranus.

12. Dwarf Planet Pluto Pluto is the smallest planet in our galaxey.
Pluto is named after a greek god.
Pluto was discovered in 1986.

13. nova A nova is a exploding star.
A lot of them are called a super nova.
A nova is in space you might of already known that and that is where it exploding.

14. Galaxy The galaxy has over 1,000,000,000 star.
The galaxy is over 1,000,000,000 years old.
the galaxy holds all of the planets.
