Great for students who want to: Get a jump-start on their college credits Work towards an on-time graduation from SMU Keep up with study habits and time management skills Participate in Greek recruitment during Spring 2019 Through the SMU Spring Entry Program, you can study at any 4- year or 2-year institution

4 Things to Consider for Visiting Students
Become familiar with visiting student policies at the institution in which you enroll. Example: additional applications, financial aid, etc. Take approximately 15 credit hours in order to maintain a 4-year graduation rate Submit your official transcript to SMU as soon as your grades are posted to receive credit for your course work Credits and grades should transfer to SMU if courses have an SMU equivalent or are similar, and the final grade is a C- or better

SMU Catalog- guide designed to help you quickly locate details about the University’s undergraduate departments, degree programs, and courses Transfer Guides- helpful tools that assist students with choosing transfer courses to meet specific programs and requirements at SMU ( catalog.smu.edu – published in early June) Transfer Equivalency Guides- Pre- approved courses from over 50 other colleges and universities (smu.edu/transfer) Walk through how to use each guide

6 Taking a Gap Semester Great for students who:
Want a break from the traditional academic setting Would like an opportunity to immerse themselves in another culture Need more time to evaluate what they’d like to do after graduation or what they’d like to study
