2 Liberty Bell Do you know what the Liberty Bell stands for? The Liberty Bell stands as a symbol of fight to end slavery. This Bell is stored in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Bell weighs 2,080 pounds (943 Kilograms). It was made in England in The first time they rang it, it cracked. Then, they fixed it and rang it again, it cracked again. Finally, they left the crack on it and left it there. The Liberty Bell got its name from a poem against slavery in This Bell is 3 feet tall and made out of coper. 3 The Bald Eagle Do you know how the Bald Eagle became one of our national symbols? I know how. Charles Thomson drew a picture of the Bald Eagle holding an olive branch and 13 arrows. The congress liked his design and in 1882, they made the Bald Eagle a national symbol. Do you know how many Bald Eagles there are? There are more than 70,000 Bald Eagles in North America. Bald Eagles only live in North America and these birds are the largest birds in North America. I hope this is enough information about the Bald Eagle.

4 The Statue of Liberty Do you know what the Statue of Liberty stands for? The Statue of Liberty stands as our American freedom. This Statue was a gift from France. Workers began building it in 1875 and ready to send to the U.S in She was built on Liberty Island in New York in She holds a torch and a tablet. The torch means that she is bringing light of freedom to the world. The tablet stands for the laws of the United States. She also has broken chains by her feet shows that she is free. Fredric Aguste Bartholdi designed the Statue of Liberty. Hope this is enough information about the Statue of Liberty.

5 The Stare Spangled Banner
Do you know how the star spangled banner started? The Star Spangled Banner started as a poem and Francis Scott Key wrote it. People sing this song to praise their Country. This song is a symbol of courage and freedom. The song became the official U.S national anthem in This song is also played when an American wins a medal in the Olympics. This should be enough info about the Star Spangled Banner.

6 The U.S Flag Do you know how many stars are on the U.S flag, or how many stripes are on the flag? Well, there are 50 stars and 13 stripes on the U.S flag. The design of this flag has a meaning. The red stripes stand for Courage, white stands for Liberty, blue stands for Loyalty, 13 stripes stand for 13 colonies, and 50 stars stand for the 50 states in North America. No one knows who made the first flag. In 1782, the first flag had 13 stripes and 13 stars. Then, in there were 18 stripes. The congress agreed that we should have 13 stripes for 13 colonies, but today we have 50 stars and 13 stripes. I just wanted to tell you about the U.S flag.
