2. London Aquatic Centre – 17th and 18th February 2018
Entry to Venue
There will be two queues at the Event Entrance on the entry road level. One for spectators and one for swimmers, coaches and officials. Swimmers and coaches will be allowed in from 7am. Spectators from 7:30am
Coaches swimmers and officials will access through the left doors past Fine Designs. Coaches need to register and collect their pool pass at the desk
Spectators will pay their entry fee in notes please and will be given a wrist band.
There is free wifi at LAC
Preparation for Swimmers and Coaches
Bags are to be stored in the lockers or with parents in the gallery. Only one string bag to be taken onto poolside. Coaches may bring a small bag and a collapsible chair.
There will be signs showing where each club will sit and there are benches for swimmers to sit on and put bags beneath.
There are water fountains around the venue. Please bring your own water bottle. There will be no drinks brought round.
Dive sprints in warm up will be 20m maximum from both ends of the pool
Marshalling
Marshalling will start on the changing room side of the pool at the diving pool end.
We are planning to use A4 whiteboards or hand held boards for marshalling
Swimmers will feed up through the call room and the changing room exiting at the main pool entrance to the 50m start end of the pool
Presentations
Presentations will be made between the competition and diving pools
Officials
Officials should enter at the same Event Entrance. Their catering facilities will be on the right side of the entrance lobby. There will be a check in table for them where non-licenced officials will receive e wrist band.
There will be a team of 6 on the front door to check entry credentials and take money. After most are in this goes down to 2.
There will be 8 marshals for the sprints
Divers
The divers are there until 2pm. PLEASE NO FALSH photos nor videoing as it annoys them.
