2. What Comes Up?
When I search up my first and last name, none of social media comes up, no pictures, or anything involving me.

3. Social Media Handles
Since nothing came up when I typed my full name, I then decided to search up my Instagram username. The thing that popped up was my Instagram. Nevertheless, there is no photos that could harm me or my future posted up on my account. Adding to that, my account is private so I can control who sees what I post.
I tried to look up any of my other social medias, like snapchat and Pinterest. None of them came up, only my Instagram

4. Reflection On My Digital Footprint
I feel very secure and confident about my footprint, There is no pictures of me surfing the web that could affect my future career. In my opinion, this was a good project to work on because it made me think how pictures of many many people are uploaded everyday and sometime not very appropriate or good ones. So many people could use those pictures against them and ruin them. This makes me think how scary the web and social media is.

5. How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities?
My digital footprint won’t affect any opportunities in the future due to the fact that I don’t have any harmful posts on any of my social media accounts. For people that do post harmful pictures, it will harm their future because the internet will save any pictures that you post even if you delete them. So if they have a job interview and they search up your name on the web, those pictures will show up and for obvious reasons, you will not get the job. They do this with other jobs too so it will very hard to find a well paying job if those pictures are up on the internet for people to see.

6. Describe at least three strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe
There is three strategies I use to maintain my digital footprint appropriate and safe, since I consider myself a careful media user I am going to write about what I do. One of the things I have is a private account, this way I can manage who sees my posts and who follows me. Following to that, posting private information is a very dangerous thing. Especially if it’s your address, your phone number and the list goes on. Secondly, I watch what I post and make sure that nothing is harmful for my future, or others.

7. What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?
I learned various things that I would pass on, such as how easy it is to find someone's information by just the click of a button or the tap of a screen. Adding to this is how terrifying the web is, not just social media. Post or say something you are not supposed to, it will be up for a long time, and even scarier anyone can access it. What I would tell them is to double think whatever they’re thinking of posting, keeping in mind their future and others. Another thing is for them try not share or post any private information, again where you live, or your phone number.
