2 Enrollment of student evacuees from Puerto Rico
Since October 2nd 2,573 student evacuees from Puerto Rico have enrolled in MA public schools. As of January 12th 2,298 continue to be enrolled students have exited.

Support $60,000 McKinney-Vento Homeless Education grants issued to 12 districts Walmart generously donated approximately 650 winter coats State Student Advisory Council leading a hat and mitten drive Governor Baker plans to request additional school funding to help school districts pay for the education of children who have been evacuated Last week Governor Baker announced he will be including 15M in FY19 budget for students from PR. ESE released guidance regarding Educators from Puerto Rico considered exchange teachers and exempt from the requirement of MA licensure for the and school years.
