What is Geothermal? Geothermal energy is energy formed by the heat of the earth, under earth's crust lies a layer of thick, hot rock with infrequent pockets of water. The water occasionally leaks up the surface in the form of hot springs. The water that seeps up the surface can be used as a free source of energy as hot water or steam. Geothermal energy is nonpolluting, relatively, inexpensive and sometimes renewable There are two types of geothermal energy, heat and generating energy This Photo by Unknown Author is licensed under CC BY-SA-NC

How does Geothermal work?
There are pools of water heated by magma. These pools of water make up our geothermal reservoirs. Harnessing the power of the earth’s temperatures to power, heat or cool our homes and businesses is the essence of geothermal power.

Why is this better than fossil fuels?
We all know gasses prices are just going to increase more and more, due to the decreasing oil. Therefore, we advise to go geothermal. Not only will you save your wallet but save the earth. Fossil fuels like this lets out a tremendous amount of c02 wich casues globle warming.
5
Cost The national average cost to install a geothermal heating or cooling system is $7,591, with most homeowners spending between $3,481 and $12,864. Including equipment and variable excavation costs, total prices can exceed $20,000. Geothermal heat pumps come in 2 to 6-ton units and average between $3,000 and $8,000.
6
Why should you invest? Homeowners choosing to invest in geothermal, will enjoy about two decades of energy bill reductions of 40 to 60 percent. If you include a 4 percent annual increase in utility costs and include maintenance savings, that comes out to an estimated $30,000 to $70,000 in savings over its 18 to 23-year life. Our Geothermal Way© setup typically pays for itself in 2 to 10 years.
7
Limitations? The only limitations are if you live far away from Geothermal revivors. But here in the northwest we are sure that you live close to one.
