Wharton: We've got wars going on in our streets (Video) By Jason Miles, WMC-TV, September 26, (WMC-TV) – Youth violence was the focus of a national summit in Washington, D.C., Thursday. Memphians were among those weighing in. It was the third such summit held in the nation's capital. Mayor A C Wharton says other cities are interested in what is going on in Memphis.
