Routines and Procedures Volunteers What to Send Daily:
Volunteering is a wonderful way to show your child you are committed to and involved in learning and school. In my classroom, I offer many ways to volunteer. From classroom helpers to donating necessary items, I try to provide many opportunities to take an active part in ensuring our classroom runs smoothly. Please make sure you fill out a serve form at the front and have all necessary paperwork filled out prior to volunteering. Bathrooms: We have a bathroom in our classroom. The children will have scheduled bathroom breaks throughout the day, as well as the ability to use the bathroom when the need arises. However, accidents can happen, so please be sure to always have a change of clothes (labeled with your child’s name) in a ziplock bag in your child’s backpack. We want to minimize any possible embarrassment and discomfort in the event of an accident. Take Home Binder: Each day, your child should bring his/her Take Home Binder to school. In the binder, you will find their agenda as well as their behavior tracking calendar Backpack (no wheels please) Binder (with signed agenda and completed Reading Log) Optional Labeled lunch box (for those not buying school lunch) Labeled durable water bottle (please avoid any that require screw off lid) We cannot be responsible for personal items such as electronics, toys, etc. Please do not send these to school.
