Groundwater
Water is found nearly everywhere.
The most obvious locations of water are lakes, rivers, streams, and oceans. These locations are all called surface water.
There are large quantities of water stored underground, which is called groundwater.
Additionally there is water found in living organisms, as vapor in the atmosphere, and in precipitation as rain and snow.
