2 Monday: Which civilization adapted to their environment by living a nomadic lifestyle centered around the buffalo?

3 According to Washington, should we have political connections with foreign nations?
When is it “okay” for us to have relations with foreign nations? According to Washington, does the United States have similar interests to European countries? How does geography affect the ability of the U.S. to follow this foreign policy? No! When those relations are commercial (business or trade). No! The U.S. is an ocean away from Europe, so it will be easier to not get involved in their problems.

4 Political parties divide the country.
“They [political parties] serve to organize faction…” Political parties divide the country. “…to put in place of the will of the Nation, the will of a party.” What the party wants replaces the needs of the country. “…They are likely…to become potent engines, by which cunning men will…subvert the Power of the People, and usurp to themselves the reins of Government. Sneaky, selfish people come to power through political parties.
