Project guidelines Task one: A Mini-Research graphic organizer
Task two: TimeLine Task three: compare and contrast essay Project is due: December 7, 2018 when you come to class. Please have it printed, etc. Do not come to class needing to work on your project. If you do so, it will be considered late.

Task one Using google or destiny, research “science fiction genre”
An example of a link that I came up with doing my research: Answer the questions at the bottom of the page using your book. This is 15% of your final grade.

Task two: timeline It should have 10 major events from your novel.
The events chosen should help the reader understand when the events took place and the significance of the event in the story. Graphics should be included and relate to the event. The appearance should be neat, pleasing and easy to read. This is 25% of the final grade.

Task three: compare-contrast essay
What are you comparing?: the novel that you read for language arts and your independent reading book for this class. What should you compare and contrast?: How the novels addressed the dystopian characteristics/elements covered during the unit. Paper should follow format taught in language arts Must also follow mla guidelines and typed. This is 25% of the final grade
