We will continue working with related facts. We will be working with fact families. This is taking 3 numbers and using them in 2 addition and 2 subtraction equations.
Also, please try to practice writing to 120 and orally counting to 120. You can also practice this by 10s and 5s.
This week we will be reading “The Big Circle.” Our phonics skill is long o and contractions. We will be working on sequencing events in a story.
We will be honoring Veterans at our program Monday. We hope to see you there! We are continuing our unit on the First Thanksgiving. We will be discussing the Native Americans and how they helped the Pilgrims.
We are working on the narrative genre writing our very own stories using the new Lucy Calkins curriculum. We have been working with writing partners editing their writing.
