Evidence- information used to prove something Suspects – person or people responsible for committing a crime Detective – person’s job to solve a crime Red Herring – false clue or fake lead Motive – causes person to act in a certain way. (Greed, money or love can influence) Foreshadowing – clues that something will happen in the future Clues – items lead reader to solve the crime
