Introduction to the Section - Part B
Ground rules Throughout the training we will share personal experiences of using health and social services and any user involvement we have done – both positives and negatives This information may be from people in the group or speakers who join us during the training As a group we must agree that every experience shared within the room is treated with respect and sensitivity All personal information shared should be kept confidential and not discussed with people who are not part of the training What else do you think should be part of our ground rules so this is a safe and positive place for everyone? Trainer Notes GROUP WORK: CORE 1 ONLY Present first two points Facilitate a discussion based on the final question. Record outcomes of group agreements for ground rules on a piece of flipchart paper and put this up at all future training sections. GROUP WORK: CORE 2 ONWARDS For this exercise from Core 2 onwards review this slide and the ground rules recorded on the flipchart paper. Check that participants are still happy with them, or whether they want to make any changes or additions. Record these additions on the flipchart paper. 3A
