Secondary School “QUAD INCEPIMUS CONFIEMUS” Timetable Structure Colonel By is NON-semestered, courses run all year, in a four day cycle. Each day has four 75 minute periods Classes run on alternate days – day 1 classes repeat on day 3, day 2 classes repeat on day 4 “WHAT WE HAVE BEGUN WE SHALL FINISH”

Registration Process for 2018-19
Colonel By Secondary School “QUAD INCEPIMUS CONFIEMUS” Registration Process for If you reside in our school zone and your child is NOT at an OCDSB school that is a designated feeder school for Colonel By, please contact the school office beginning Monday January 22nd to make a registration appointment with a Vice-Principal. Proof of address (three pieces) in the Colonel By boundary is required for registration to proceed. “WHAT WE HAVE BEGUN WE SHALL FINISH”

Option Sheets & Registration
Colonel By Secondary School “QUAD INCEPIMUS CONFIEMUS” Option Sheets & Registration Students received a Colonel By Secondary School Option Sheet and Registration Form following the Grade 8 student visit on January 16th. This form includes the student’s course requests. Guidance counsellors explained the different types of courses available and provided strategies for identifying and selecting courses that are a “best fit” for students. Students will bring the form home to be filled in, signed by a parent/guardian. Please return the forms to their current elementary school by February 5, 2018. “WHAT WE HAVE BEGUN WE SHALL FINISH”

Cross-Boundary Transfer Process
Colonel By Secondary School “QUAD INCEPIMUS CONFIEMUS” Cross-Boundary Transfer Process The applications require the approval of the principal at the receiving school, after consultation with the principal of the sending school. The receiving principal may request evidence and reasoning in support of the transfer application. Applications to the receiving school between February 5-22, After this, applications are late and reviewed periodically (June, September). “WHAT WE HAVE BEGUN WE SHALL FINISH”

Criteria for Cross-Boundary Transfer Applications for 2018-2019
Colonel By Secondary School “QUAD INCEPIMUS CONFIEMUS” Criteria for Cross-Boundary Transfer Applications for particular learning needs of or requirements placed on the students; and/or access to an ONTARIO course package that is not available at the student’s designated school, including transfer at the Grade 9 level to access a course package at the receiving school that does not commence until grade 10; and/or exceptional personal circumstances. “WHAT WE HAVE BEGUN WE SHALL FINISH”
