T-2-4 College day=Tomorrow
Tomorrow we will be holding our annual T-2-4 Day (Technical - 2 yr - 4 yr colleges) in conjunction with underclassmen taking the PSAT. All activities will be in the morning from 8am- Noon, followed by classes in the afternoon (we will hold all 6 classes tomorrow after lunch). This is a required school day and attendance will be taken.

12th grade 12th graders will either be:
Participating in T-2-4 activities with your Seminar class or Taking the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test=ASVAB (see Mr. Norton for registration details)

You will be rotating through 5 different activities before lunch: SchooLinks [Library] Student Alumni panel [Aux Gym] Counselor panel [auditorium] Application Workshop [computer labs: Senior Yearbook Photo [on the front steps] Where you start tomorrow morning at 8:00am will depend on your Seminar teacher (schedule on next slide).

Please note: There are limited Seminar opportunities for you to access technology and personal help with college and job applications Attendance and participation on October 10 will benefit you! This is an OPPORTUNITY for you to get help, ask questions, and confirm you are taking all the right “next steps” With the transition from Naviance to SchooLinks, this is a valuable OPPORTUNITY to learn the new software platform. During Seminar on November 7, the students will be able to update Naviance, work on Scholarship applications/college applications.

Additional information
What to bring Oct. 10? ASVAB: bring #2 pencils Seminar: paper, pencil/pen, “12th Year Campaign” student workbook, college application information that you are currently working on. You MUST be to your assigned starting location by 8:00am

REMINDERS: There’s still time to sign up to take the ASVAB (This is a valuable career interest survey for anyone, not just those interested in military careers (See Mr. Norton to register) to if you are not already on the College & Career Remind group FAFSA is open!!! – Get your FAFSA submitted ASAP. Questions? See Mr. Norton or Mrs. Maguire November 1 or 15 is an important “Early Action” deadline for many colleges – pay attention to all your college deadlines Senior class picture will be taken tomorrow! Teachers – please take the time to review each of these reminders. Please remind students that tomorrow is a mandatory attendance day as well.

SchooLinks is the electronic platform Lewis & Clark uses to:
Track your APPLICATION PROGRESS Send TRANSCRIPTS (most colleges) Send LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION (if needed) Send official FINAL TRANSCRIPTS to your designated college after graduation IMPORTANT!!!! LOG ON TONIGHT AND ESTABLISH YOUR ACCOUNT!! SCHOOLINKS IS NOT AN APPLICATION PORTAL SCHOOLINKS DOES NOT INTERFACE WITH COMMON APPLICATION or COALITION APPLICATION Students must use Naviance as it is the primary platform we use to communicate with the colleges.

SEARCH AND FAVORITE COLLEGES:
College Search To access College Search, hover over the Schools icon on the navigation side bar on the left, then select College Search from the dropdown menu. College Favorites The easiest way to add a college to your favorite list is to simply click on the heart icon under a college's name.

Survey You will take a short survey about your experience as a LC student. We want you to take this survey because your teachers want to hear from you! As you complete your survey, remember the purpose of the survey is to help us improve your learning experiences in school, so please be honest. We will use your answers to better support all students. If you feel you cannot answer a question, you may skip that question. All responses will be completely anonmymous.

Survey directions Go to surveys.panoramaed.com/Spokane or use the QR code. Enter your student ID as the unique access code for the survey. Click on the button that says “English” to switch to another language. Select the Student Attribute Survey (SAS). Start the survey by clicking the green button on the right side of the screen that says “Start Surveys.” Complete the survey and then click on “Submit.” Do not submit a partially filled-out form.
