Thank you Corrine for volunteering to assemble our class Penny Social basket! Our theme is toys and puzzles. If you are able to donate something for the basket, you can send it in to school and I will get it to Corrine.

Math – We will review addition facts, telling time on an analog clock, and place value.
ELA – We will share our thoughts as we read. Readers are thinkers! We will begin to draft personal narratives. We are learning to spell high frequency words correctly. We can write the word “it” in cursive. We will learn the letter “p” this week.
Social Studies – We will write our classroom constitution and talk about what it means to be a good citizen.

Complete the Reading Journal Sheet and return it Friday, 9/29/17.
We are talking about expectations for how we do written homework this week. We have a math sheet due Friday. We will begin it in class, and it should be finished – if need be – at home.
Please send in any Class Directory Permission sheets or “million words or less” letters as soon as possible. Thank you!
Picture Day is Thursday 9/28. We are super lucky to get an early time slot, so we can all look our neatest! Please be on time Thursday morning, so you’ll be here for our class picture. 

We have our field trip tomorrow. We will go rain or shine and will be mostly indoors, but please send appropriate rain gear if needed. Please send your child with a bag lunch.
