Levy County /18 Resume Review Workshops 3 high schools participated Resume review workshops was conducted for over 300 high school students Career Fair March 2018 Over 300 students in attendance Future plans to engage for 2018/19 school year by focusing on work experience opportunities

Experiential Learning (cont.) – Sector Specific Business incentives to support sector growth opportunities through placement, training and a paid work experience OJT / On-the-Job Training Reimburses between 50 & 75% of wages on eligible candidates PY 17/18 – 21 grants CBT / Custom Business Training Supports businesses by training existing employee through a reimbursement of a portion of the training cost, can be up to 50% on programs that lead to a credential or industry certification PY – 17/ grants Internship / Work Experience Offers businesses & candidates an opportunity to work at a business to learn skills and gain experience for up to 360 hours – cost paid for by CSCLM A “try before you buy” concepts PY 17/18 – 14 grants

Sector Grants Florida Job Growth Grant Withlacoochee Technical College (WTC) - $135,000 – awarded June 2018 Citrus Construction Academy High school / post-secondary students – 160 hours Short-term continuing education – graduates will earn NCCER & OHSA 10 certifications – 900 hour program The program will concentrate of electrical, masonry, carpentry, pluming, HVAC - that will concentrate of OJT and/or paid internship programs
