Get out a piece of paper and answer these questions. Just write the answer Where does 90% of the world population live? Describe an urban area. Why do most people move to cities? What is the word for the spreading of ideas? What is a site of innovation called? What unites a group? What is monotheism? Name a monotheistic religion. What is polytheistic? Name a polytheistic religion. What does representative democracy mean? What type of economy is dependent on the market?

Create a Culture!!! Explain your picture and symbols on the lines below and illustrate your civilian on the other side. 1. Background: draw what buildings look like for your civilian. 2. One hand: draw an object that represents your type of government. 3. Other hand: draw an object that represents your type of economy. 4. Head: draw something on or around the head that represents an innovation or invention. 5. Next to civilian: draw something that depicts a popular leisure time activity (sport, hobby, talent) represents religious beliefs. 7. Speech bubble: draw a speech bubble with your civilian saying something in their language, translate below. 8. On the stomach: draw a food item that is consumed in your culture. 9. Miscellaneous: draw one more picture or symbol that makes your culture unique!
