4 Overview & Instructions
You are going to compare and contrast the physical and human geographical aspects of two countries from two different continents by creating a chart. Each area that is being compared should contain pictures and descriptive statements that visually identify the physical or human geographical aspects associated with that country. Part A: Create a presentation that compares and contrasts two countries from two different continents. Part B: Write two paragraphs that require you to 1) compare and contrast the physical and human aspects of both countries and 2) explain how geography impacts culture. Example of Part A below: CULTURAL TRADITIONS – Language, religion, morals/values, art, fashion, etc.. That set this area apart from others? Thailand (Example) Iraq (Example) Thai language is known as “Siamese,” and consists primarily monosyllabic words (single-syllables). It is possible to have two words pronounced exactly the same way, but with two different meanings. The only way to tell them (and their meanings) apart is by the tone or voice inflection.
