BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE
A 100 years ago the foundation stone was laid for our school.
3
In 1908 the school was opened. This is the front of the school.
4
This is still the main entrance for pupils.
5
In 1908 the top corridor was called “St. Joseph’s Corridor”.
6
We had a Kindergarten which is now the Staff Workroom.
7
This Science Lab is now the Library.
8
The Dining Hall in 1908 is now classrooms U1 & U2.
9
The front of the School has changed little.
10
The Convent & Chapel also look the same.
11
In the last 30 years we have had prefabs.
12
Prefabs 1-5 are empty.
13
They will be demolished in October to make way for a new building.
14
The Old Hall was completely empty in July 2007 and now has three temporary classrooms in it.
15
In Freedom Park the school is like our prefabs.
16
Children in Freedom Park have little future without Education.
17
We can give these children a future by raising £150 as a year group.
18
Each form in Year 7-11 has a pupil to sponsor…

Anyone who comes to me and listens to my words and obeys them – I will show you what he is like.
He is like a man who is building his house, he dug deep and laid the foundation on rock. The river overflowed and hit that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. Luke 6: 46-48
