Life during the Great Depression Matters because?
Many people lost their homes and jobs. Popular entertainment tried to help people forget their worries. Novelists and artists began to realistically portray life in America

Drought left land dry, wind blew dust everywhere Skies were black for miles Dust buried crops/livestock/ suffocated those caught in storms 50 storms a year during the 1930s Many lost their farms!
