1. Polluted indoor air is drawn into the unit by its fan and moves upward through the cleaning chamber.
2. Ionization negatively charges the particles which are pushed/drawn onto positively charged plates, where they are captured. This ionization process is completely contained within the purification chamber.
3. A proprietary utilization of cold plasma technology both regulates temperature and kills pathogens.
4. The positively charged plates are routinely rinsed by power washes using distilled water—an ounce of GENANO® Biodegradable Cleansing Fluid mixed in is optional— then flushed downward.
5. Flushed particles have been rendered 100% environmentally safe and are collected in a basin at the bottom of the unit. These portable waste collection basins are safely cleaned in any sink. The new G120 uses a collection cartridge rather than a basin.
