3. 1. General information Background / Motivation / Challenge
Laufen Pro is the best selling ceramic set and currently only Case and Open furniture are available to complement this set. They are in comparison too expensive.
Due to pricing and three step distribution (other competitors have two) there was a need to find synergies so that quality would not be taken away for price.
With Idea we have found the optimal situation giving us a good price whilst still keeping high quality materials including quality surfaces, Blum fittings, 3D fixation system and drawers.
Also our special space saving siphon is automatically included with all vanity units

The case plus towel rail can be locally fitted to the vanity unit as an option
The vanity unit has pre-drilled holes from the inside. The installer just has to drill through (left or right side) and mount the towel rail.
A useful option which is easily installed.

Feet
It is possible to order aluminium feet (two in a set).
From a design point of view these feet are only to be used in cases where the wall cannot carry the furniture.
Because the vanity units are only 390mm high and hang above the floor at about 350mm. This means that the feet are extremely long and do not look very nice

It is possible to choose from a further 38 colours (matt lacquered! Not foil surface)
There will be a surcharge of ca. 25% (for one piece) and min. one week longer delivery time. For one time orders of 50, 100 or 200 assorted pieces, the surcharge will be less. Down to 13% (200 pieces).
There is one colour code (999) for all 38 colours, whilst placing the order add in the comments what colour is requested.

The integrated handle is very popular and follows the current trend.
The surface is a PVC foil which is very scratch, water and UV resistant.
In the colour Wenge, the foil has a 3D structure which gives the furniture a real wood feeling. Also available in White and Cappuccino. Because of the matt surfaces it has an easy maintenance and fits both in private bathrooms and in (semi-) public areas as well

The full extension drawer & interior drawer have metallic sides with integrated soft close.
The fittings of the drawer are supplied by the company Blum from Austria.
Blum is a very established company for fittings with a high quality standard.
The benefits:
There is a better slide-out and they have a longer life cycle than with cheaper systems. It is also very easy to adjust the drawer.

For the installation we use an adjustable 3D fitting / fixation system.
It is one of the easiest ways to fit the furniture on to the wall.

It is logical and simple for the installer. Everything is described within the provided mounting instruction.

Innovation: Viega has modified a standard siphon to fit to the Laufen needs.
We have the exclusive selling rights for this product for one year. USP!
The set includes all pieces to complement the whole Laufen range in all dimensions. It is automatically included with the furniture of Laufen Pro.
The benefits:
No cut-out anymore in the drawers. The consumer has more space in the drawer.
