WEX Prepaid Benefits Card
Cardholder uses Card to pay for eligible items at IIAS merchant that accepts MasterCard® or Visa® (over 50,000 locations nationwide) Eligible expenses are deducted from the account balance at the point of sale Transactions are substantiated but you may be required to provide documentation Card can also be used in response to “balance due” notice from a hospital, doctor, dentist, or vision provider WEX Health uses its auto-substantiation technology to electronically verify the transaction’s eligibility according to IRS rules

How the Cards Works If the FSA transaction is auto substantiated (85-95% of the time), no further action is necessary; otherwise, the cardholder will receive a letter or requesting a receipt to verify the expense Participant account information and transaction history is available 24/7 online Use your card for FSA, Dependent Care, Limited FSA (Dental and Vision for those that are on the H S A during their first year), Transit, and Parking Participants will receive 2 Cards in the mail – one for the participant and one for the spouse or a dependent – along with important information on using the Cards Cards, once issued, have a 3-year expiration For the HSA with Pacific HDHP, HSA Bank will issue up to two cards at no cost
