2. KLSD RUP… the student friendly version
All students are responsible for seeing that our labs, equipment and network are used in an effective, efficient, ethical and lawful manner.
Breaking these policies can lead to disciplinary consequences as outlined in the student handbook.

3. KLSD RUP Guidelines… the student friendly version
Your JJHS network username and password are yours alone and should NEVER be shared with other users.
Don’t attempt to access web sites blocked by District policy, including the use of proxy services, Virtual Private Network (VPN) portals, video streaming, gaming, software, or other web sites.
Respect the rights of copyright owners.
Protect your privacy – don’t post personal information about yourself or other people.
Social media has become a useful communication and collaboration tool and may be used responsibly for educational purposes.

4. Acting responsibly means you will not…
Install any software or games on any District computer
access the internet or wireless internet service through a third party service provider
engage in personal attacks or harass other persons
access material that is profane or obscene, that advocates illegal or dangerous acts, or that advocates violence or discrimination toward other people

It is the District’s philosophy that students learn to use technology tools to communicate globally and advance their educational goals.
It is a privilege to have access to these resources and therefore, all users must agree that they will comply with these guidelines.
