Figure Distribution of ciprofloxacin resistance in isolates of Salmonella enterica serotype Kentucky from human infections, by year and probable region of acquisition, for 12 European Union member states Isolate data given for Denmark (85 isolates), Estonia (7), Germany (119), Ireland (33), Italy (13), Luxembourg (9), Malta (24), the Netherlands (89), Romania (2), Slovenia (8), Spain (38), and the UK (874), because these countries consistently provided information about antimicrobial resistance each year from 2007 to Regions classified according to the UN standard country and area codes classification M49. One case of ciprofloxacin-susceptible S Kentucky infection associated with travel to the USA and reported in 2010 is not included in the figure.
