What’s Happening This Month?
A Note From The Teacher…
Students will be benchmark testing for reading (SRI) and math (SMI) this week. Please encourage your child to do their best. These tests will help us see the gains your child has made since the beginning of the school year.
Wednesday, December 6th: Intermediate Winter Program 6:30p
Thursday, December 14: Reading AR is due
Monday, December 19th: Class parties and end of Quarter 2 *Early dismissal at 1:30p
December 20- January 2nd Winter Break!!

Reading:  Unit 3 Week 2 "Early America."  Vocab. due Thursday and test Friday. 
Spelling:  Unit 3 Homophones.  Test Friday. 
AR points are due Thursday, December 14th.

DLR and Compare and Contrast essay for Wonder
Math

​Adding and subtracting mixed numbers. Problem solving with fractions. Benchmark testing Thursday.  Unit 5 test next week!

Science--Chapter 5, L#1:  Habitats and Niches; project work day Tuesday/Wednesday.  Back of 1st page of packet must be completed by end of class Wednesday.  NO ONE STARTS ON DIORAMA UNTIL GIVEN APPROVAL!!
