Plan Before you start make a plan of what you will make. Gather imagery you may need (for Oldershaw ensure that you have a simple image which has been edited to give you the layers) Review and gather card to create your work Safety Craft knife. Ensure you are always using a cutting mat Cut away from your body and hands Make many cuts rather than pressing hard Never use a broken knife Secure Use masking tape and PVA glue rather for a secure assembling of your work. You may prefer hot glue gun – however you will need to be careful with the heat. Record As this work is 3D you will need to take photography of your response to present in your book –make sure there is no distracting background, that this work is well lit and in focus. Keep the piece even once the work has been presented. Homework and Wednesday’s lesson: Use card to create a sample of manipulated card in response to one of the artist’s listed here, your work should not be larger that A5 however it should display some of the skills and detail seen here. Due: 10th Dec.
