2. Early Life Rosa Parks was born in Feb 4th, 1913 Alabama.
Rosa’s grandparents told her that “all people should be treated equally”.
At that time, segregation law kept white and black people apart.
Rosa’s mother was a Teacher her father was a Carpenter she also had a brother.

3. Middle Years
Rosa dropped out of school because she needed to care for her mother & grandmother.
In the early, 1930’s earning the high school diploma was very big deal only 1-10 people could get it ( she succeeded and got it).
She worked as a seamstress.
Rosa married Raymond parks in 1932 he was a barber he encouraged her to complete her high school education.
