What defines a “Project?” Define the problem Clearly outline solution Identify appropriate resource(s) Tie back to UC San Diego Strategic Plan Identify project teams Give comparables TANA’s slide Defining problem: Show you understand problem. Give relatable examples. Outline solution: Show anticipated results. Identify resources: Are you asking the correct people for resources? Tie to Strategic Plan: Tie back to a Goal. Project Team: Why are they qualified to help solve the problem? Give comparables: Are there similar projects on campus or off?

Lay the foundation for meetings Identify role of each committee member Set milestones for project Communication Outline deliverables BILL’s Slide Lay foundation: Map out scope. Identify role: representation of individual/dept./division? Set milestones: Gantt or timeline with milestones or phases outlined? Communication: Consistency, transparency and buy-in assist with change management Outline deliverables: What does success look like?
