8 What Does a Fraction Look Like?
A fraction is made up of two numbers that are stacked on top of each other. The two numbers are called a numerator and a denominator. The numerator and the denominator are separated by a line called the fraction line. Image hosted by: Refer to slide. Image hosted by:

9 What is a Numerator and a Denominator?
A numerator tells how many equal parts of the whole are being considered. A denominator tells how many total equal parts the whole has been divided into. Refer to slide. Image hosted by:
