2 ABOUT HARVARD Harvard University is located in Boston, Massachusetts.
Address: Cambridge, MA 02138 It was founded in 1636. Their school color is crimson, and their mascot is a pilgrim.

3 HISTORY Harvard is the oldest institution of education in the United States. It was established in 1636 by vote of the Great and General Court of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Harvard University came to its name because of it’s first benefactor, the young minister John Harvard of Charlestown. When he died (1838) he left his library and half of his estate to the institution established in 1636 by vote.

12 HIGHLIGHTS Free and open to the public. They have morning prayers for those who wish to participate. Held Monday through Saturday during term in Appleton Chapel, the service consists of music, prayer, and a brief address given by a member or friend of the University.
