Text Policy statement: Any RIR's resource registrant may transfer IPv4 addresses to the resource registrant of another RIR as long as the two RIRs agree and exercise Internet stewardship and the values expressed in RFC2050. Rationale: Since individual RIRs now allow transfers, it makes sense to be able to transfer between regions as well. Timetable for implementation: upon ratification of all five RIRs Timetable for de-implementation: upon change to this policy text in any RIR
4
Direction Wanted to support the ability to transfer addresses from those who do not need them to those who do, even if it is across RIRs Wanted to keep the policy simple Allow RIR’s the flexibility to do what is needed Wanted to uphold the principles of Internet stewardship and principles of RFC 2050

Thoughts Will it work? Benefits? Needed?
Plan to take your feed back and submit a policy proposal Submitted in ARIN. Would be happy to work with someone in RIPE if interested.
