Today, there are over 3,000 FIRST Robotics teams nationwide
Robotics teams are all about hands-on technical education and teamwork
Robotics teams compete regionally and nationally
Robotics competitions are high energy events – much like varsity football or basketball games – that attract hundreds of spectators and supporters. We’re called “The Varsity Sport for the Mind”
Robotics teams need to raise A LOT of money – about $20,000 annually. Most of this money comes from sponsorships and grants.
