2. fLAG
The American flag has a meaning for each design and color. The stars represent states. One star equals one state. There are fifty stars because we have fifty states. Each stripe is a colony. There are thirteen stripes and thirteen colonies. The red on the flag means courage. White is for liberty. Blue is for loyalty. Our American flag stands for freedom.
